And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell.”

Gen.1:1-3  “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said let there be light, and there was light.”

John 10:22- 30 “My sheep hear my voice, I know them and they know me, I give them eternal life and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. Good and Evil- God has allowed evil to provide a choice. God can bring good even out of evil events.

Gen. 50:20  “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

1Cor. 11:19 “For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.”

Afterlife – Death in not the end, but the beginning.

Heaven and Hell are real places.

Col. 1:18  “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.”

Lord’s Supper – This is an ordinance of the church that we observe in remembrance of Jesus’ suffering.

1 Cor. 11:20-34  “For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken: this do in remembrance of me. After, the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.”

Prayer- Prayer can do anything God can do.  There are five types of prayers: prayers of praise, thanksgiving, confession, intercession and petition.

Confession is agreeing with God about our sins.

Petition is asking God for our personal needs

Second Coming- Jesus will return to gather His children and to judge the world.
